Dave started playing drums at age 9 and has played ever since. Dave has traveled across the country playing everything from rock n’ roll to calypso and jazz fusion to funk, including performances with the multi-platinum bands The Buckinghams and Spiral Staircase. He currently is a freelance drummer and percussionist filling in with bands all over the valley. You can find him playing with Chuck E. Baby and the Allstars, The Switch, J.T.’s Island Steel Band, the Volcano Steel Band just to name a few.

Dave has opened for such legendary performers as Styx, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepard, REO Speedwagon, Montgomery Gentry, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, The Offspring, Steppenwolf, 30 Seconds to Mars, Grand Funk Railroad and many more.

In addition to a regular schedule of live gigs and studio sessions, Dave also has been educating players of all ages and experience levels since graduating high school. Dave currently teaches private and group music lessons as well as assisting with several high school drum lines.

Dave also toured for two years with a top twelve drum and bugle corps, being instructed by two of the most respected marching drum instructors in the country. “I believe this is where I gained my work ethic,” Dave explains. “It was a highly competitive environment, and there were musical changes daily. I was expected to work very hard to execute these changes and perform them nightly.”
