Brett Phillips – Guitar, Bass
Brett Phillips teaches guitar and bass. He also performs guitar and bass setup and repair for our students and customers.
Brett started playing the piano at the age of 6 along with the trumpet and tuba through High School. He sang in his first rock band at 16 and soon after started playing the guitar.
He formed his first band as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist soon after High School in which he played until enrolling in the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery (stringed instrument construction) where he learned how to design and build acoustic and electric guitars.
After graduating in 1986, Brett enrolled at the University of Wyoming where he obtained a teaching degree (1990) in Industrial Arts specializing in technology. He can be seen performing with local improv band JUNK.
